Kulana Nguyen Petrovich

Kulana Nguyen Petrovich, entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist, and author. Made for more.

Entrepreneur · Investor · Philanthropist · Connector · Woman of Faith

For the woman rebuilding her life, her faith, and her ambition. I build companies, communities, and second chances, and I reach back to help someone else rise.

Scroll

I build things that don't yet exist. Companies, communities, and comebacks.

Freedom creates opportunity. Opportunity creates responsibility. And faith turns both into purpose.

Question behind
it all: Why not?
My Story

From Freedom to Purpose

My story did not begin with wealth or connections. It began with an immigrant family, sacrifice, and a belief that freedom itself was an extraordinary gift.

01
The gift of freedom

Circumstances decide where you begin, never where you finish

I grew up in Malaysia in a home of nearly eighteen children, my parents' own and those they adopted. We came to the United States with little, carrying one belief that became the foundation of my life: circumstances may decide where you begin, but never where you finish.

02
An entrepreneur before I knew the word

I walked away from the ceiling someone else built

As a teenager I sold my parents' sample garments to friends, my first taste of turning something ordinary into something more. Out of college I took five offers and rose to a director role in telecom extraordinarily early. Then I realized I didn't want anyone else deciding how high I could climb. So I walked away.

03
Building from nothing

They said it takes twenty years. My answer was, why not?

In my early twenties I started Granite Design Stone Company. Since then I have founded roughly ten companies organically, with no institutional investors and no large loans. When I entered insurance and said I would become an FMO, people laughed. My answer was the one I have given my whole life: Why not?

04
The connector

You use what you have to open doors for someone else

People have always called me the connector. I link people, friends, businesses, partners, often people who would never have found one another. When you hold access to relationships, knowledge, or opportunity, you do not grip it tightly. You use it to open doors for someone else.

05
When my own world changed

In the stillness, my ambition found a clearer purpose

The hardest trial of my life came through the unexpected breakdown of my marriage, something I could not solve with another business plan. For months, I stopped. In that stillness I prayed, I listened, and I grew closer to God. My trials did not end my ambition. They gave it a clearer purpose.

If you are in a season of stillness, it is not the end of your ambition. It may be exactly where your real purpose begins.

06
Beauty, and a voice for women

Transforming something into its best version

I have always been drawn to beauty, not appearances, but the work of transforming something into its best version, which became my vision for Qulana Beauty. That same belief now flows into my writing: books on entrepreneurship, womanhood, resilience, and rebuilding.

07
The woman they couldn't erase

Nothing has the authority to decide your worth

You can lose a relationship, money, a company, the future you planned. None of it has the authority to decide your worth. The woman beneath the titles is still there, and she is stronger, wiser, and more purposeful than the woman who came before.

Whatever you have lost, your worth was never inside it. The woman underneath is still here, and she is made for more.

"I don't want to speak to women from the finish line. I want to walk beside them on the road back."

Walking Beside Them

In their words

When my marriage ended, I thought my story was over. Kulana reminded me it was only a new chapter, then showed me how to write it.
Maria · Entrepreneur
She does not speak to you from the finish line. She gets in the trenches beside you and helps you rebuild.
Danielle · Business Owner
Kulana connected me to the exact person I needed, and expected nothing back. That is simply who she is.
Grace · Community Leader
The Ventures

An ecosystem,
not a portfolio

Every venture exists to create opportunity for someone else: a job, a home, a second chance. Development, housing, building materials, distribution, and beauty, built to work together.

Writing

A voice for
other women

What happens to a woman after betrayal, and who does she choose to become afterward? That is where my writing begins.

The Woman They Tried to Erase

What happens when a woman feels everything she built is being taken away, and how she discovers no one has the power to erase who she is.

Rebuilding

When the life you built falls apart, how do you rebuild? A companion for the road back: faith, boundaries, confidence, and beginning again.

For You

Start here

A few things for the road back, from someone who has walked it.

Faith & Philanthropy

Success is an obligation
to reach back

Housing & dignity

Affordable housing and communities that restore what homelessness takes away: dignity, stability, belonging, and hope. A home is more than four walls. It is somewhere a person can begin again.

Children & seniors

A lifelong commitment to children, orphans, seniors, and underserved communities, and to people who simply need an opportunity to rebuild their lives.

Faith at the center

My relationship with God shapes the decisions I make and the person I want to become. Caring for one another extends far beyond what anyone sees in the mirror.
